WordPress Plugin: Improved Cron

Hinnerk Altenburg from WP-ImmoMakler will take over the further development of the free WordPress plugin Improved Cron on September 2, 2015.

With this plugin it is possible to start background processes in WordPress regularly without having to set up a cron job!

By using this plugin, the import process of WP-ImmoMakler can be continued optimally, even if the web server terminates the process after a certain script runtime.

WP-ImmoMakler 5 is compatible with WP-Cron to automatically execute the import process in the background at regular intervals. Thanks to the close cooperation, WP-ImmoMakler can automatically adjust the time interval between two executions of Improved Cron optimally to the server's script runtime.
