Sending via an SMTP server
If you have problems with email delivery, e.g. if emails from the contact form or from the search agents do not reach you, or the emails often end up in the spam folder, then please try a plugin for authenticated sending of emails via a mail server.
Many hosters now block unauthenticated sending via PHP to protect against spam malware. Some spam filters check whether the emails were sent from a mail server authorized for the domain of the sender's email address.
It is best to install an SMTP plugin and store your access data to your mail server there. All emails from your WordPress system, and therefore also the emails sent by WP-ImmoMakler via the WordPress system, will then be sent as if you were sending them from your email program.
WordPress > /wp-admin > Plugins > Install > search for "SMTP" (or in the WordPress plugin directory).
We have had good experiences with many customers using the "WP Mail SMTP" plugin (the one with the dove's head in the logo), but all other SMTP plugins should also work very well.
Important to note:
The contact form sender should have the same domain as the website so that the mail does not end up in the SPAM folder. Alternatively, you can use an SMTP plugin.
Configuration in the broker software
If this still does not work, please contact us, it may also be due to certain configurations of your broker software.
We will then help you to solve the problem together with the support of your broker software and, if necessary, your hoster!
Propstack: Create source for automation
If necessary, a "Source" must be created in Propstack or the existing "Homepage" source must be adapted with the sender address you have stored for the contact form, see above. In this way, you assign a known source to the sender address and the contact requests can be processed automatically from WP-ImmoMakler PLUS (create contact, assign property, etc.).

Propstack: Emails end up in the Sent folder
In Propstack, you must ensure that the sender email address is not the same as the email address to which the contact form is sent (e.g. verkauf@makler-mueller.de). If the addresses are the same, Propstack interprets the mails as "sent" and moves them to the "sent" folder.
Set the sender e-mail address in WP-ImmoMakler under "WP-ImmoMakler > Settings > Contact form > Sender".
The recipient email address is stored in Propstack an den Immobilien.
