Preparation for changing the broker software
If you want to change your broker software, you do not need to make any special settings in WP-ImmoMakler.
It is important that you delete all properties on the website once before switching. Ideally, you should remove the properties from your website using the old broker software. You can then transfer them again from your new estate agent software. If you no longer have the option of deleting the properties using the old estate agent software, you can also delete the properties manually in your WordPress backend.
Why do properties have to be deleted before the change?
If you do not delete the properties on the website before the change, they can no longer be automatically updated or deleted after the change. The reason for this is that each broker software transfers the properties with a different internal name (ID). Therefore, WP-ImmoMakler no longer has the option of assigning them after the change.
Manually delete properties in the backend
To delete properties manually, please go to your "WordPress backend -> WP-ImmoMakler -> Properties". There you can use the checkbox next to the word "Title image" to click on all properties at once and then move them to the trash. Of course, you can also select individual properties and only delete these. When changing the broker software, however, it would be important to put all objects in the recycle bin.
Please remember to empty the recycle bin when you get the chance.
"I forgot to delete the properties before the change!"
If you have forgotten to delete the old objects before the change and you have already transferred the objects from the new software, this is not a problem. You can simply delete all objects, old and new, and then transfer a full comparison from the new broker software again.
